SGI - Defensive Pistol Craft - DPC VI

This course begins with a comprehensive review of Pistol Craft I, II, III, IV, and V. Pistol Craft VI will introduce shooters to one and two-man room clearing techniques. The techniques taught during this course will focus on home defense and street survival during critical incidents. Shooters will participate in several realistic shooting scenarios where shooters will use all of the skills taught to them in Pistol Craft I - VI.
Course content includes:
- Weapon Safety and Range Commands
- Directional Pivots (from the guard position)
- Structure Clearing Considerations (Doors, Windows, Stairwells, etc.)
- Individual Room Clearing Techniques
- 2-Person Entry and Room Clearing Techniques (Space Domination, Secondary Search, Reorganization & Consolidation)
- Cover vs. Concealment Review (Street Orientation)
- Shooting from a Vehicle
- Vehicle Dismounting Techniques
- Contact, Cover, and Maneuvers
- Intro: Tactical Pistol Course (Federal Air Marshal Course of Fire)
