SGI - California Concealed Carry (CCW) Basic Course (16 hr)

The SGI - California Concealed Carry (CCW) Basic Course is for citizens who are interested in obtaining their CCW permit. This course satisfies the mandated classroom and firearms training portion of the CCW application process, and is essential training for anyone wanting to carry a concealed firearm.  Current legislation governing the carrying of a concealed firearm, as well as post-incident management, will be discussed during this course.

The classroom portion of the course is held at SGI's Regional Training Center in Riverside, CA. The live-fire firearms portion will be held at Route 66 Shooting Sports Park in Glen Helen.  

* You can qualify with up to six (6) handguns on your CCW permit -- unlike other training groups, SGI does NOT charge you extra if you elect to qualify with more than one handgun.

* This course meets the firearms training requirement for the CCW application process for the following agencies:

• Monterey Park CA Police Department
• Pomona CA Police Department
• Riverside County Sheriff's Department

• Reality-Based Judgmental Shooting (Shoot / Don't Shoot and "De-escalation" Scenarios on state-of-the-art MILO Law Enforcement Shooting Simulators)
• Firearm Manipulation / Marksmanship / Practice (Range)
• Firearms Qualification Course (Live Fire - Range)
