This course begins with a comprehensive review of Pistol Craft I and II. Pistol Craft III will introduce shooters to strong-hand, support-hand shooting techniques. The shooter will also be introduced to unconventional shooting platforms. Threat management and risk aversion will also be discussed. The course will conclude with a realistic training scenario that will incorporate all of the skills taught in Pistol Craft I, II, and III.
Course content includes:
- Weapon Safety and Range Commands
- Use of Deadly Force - (Review)
- Strong & Support Hand Shooting (Reloads and Immediate-Action drills)
- Unconventional Shooting Platforms (Right-side, Left-side, Supine)
- Falling Drills (Shooting after you have been attacked and knocked down)
- Shooting in cold weather or during an adrenaline rush
- Threat Management & Risk Aversion
- IDPA Course Classifier Phase-III
